Key Responsibilities:
- Administer and maintain Linux-based systems to ensure high levels of performance, availability, and security.
- Implement and manage AWS cloud infrastructure, including EC2, S3, and other AWS services.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to minimize downtime and optimize performance.
- Collaborate with development and IT teams to integrate new technologies and solutions.
- Maintain and manage backups, perform regular system updates, and ensure data integrity.
- Ensure compliance with security policies and procedures, including those related to SC and NPPV3 clearances.
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Linux System Administrator in a professional environment.
- Strong background in AWS cloud services and infrastructure management.
- SC Clearance and NPPV3 clearance are mandatory.
- Expertise in system performance tuning, troubleshooting, and automation.
- Excellent understanding of networking, security, and system integration.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Desirable Skills:
- Familiarity with additional cloud platforms or DevOps tools is a plus.
- Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Python) for automation tasks.
