As part of their ongoing commitment to excellence in asset management, they are seeking an experienced Asset Manager to optimise their property portfolio.

The Role

As the Asset Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that the organisation's housing portfolio is managed effectively and sustainably. Reporting to senior leadership, you will develop and implement strategies to maximise the value, safety, and long-term viability of housing assets while supporting the organisation's mission to deliver safe, affordable homes for residents.

You will lead on creating data-driven investment plans, identifying regeneration opportunities, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and environmental standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Asset Planning: Develop and oversee the delivery of long-term asset management strategies to enhance the portfolio's performance and value.
  • Data-Driven Decision-Making: Utilise data and asset management systems to inform investment decisions, lifecycle costing, and asset performance evaluation.
  • Investment Programmes: Lead on the development of capital investment plans for planned maintenance, retrofit initiatives, and regeneration projects.
  • Sustainability and Compliance: Ensure properties meet evolving regulatory standards, including safety, decarbonisation, and energy efficiency targets.
What We're Looking For

We are seeking a results-oriented and forward-thinking professional with a passion for social housing and asset management. Key attributes include:

  • Experience: Proven experience in strategic asset management within the social housing or property sector.
  • Knowledge: Strong understanding of housing regulations, building safety, decarbonisation strategies, and asset lifecycle planning.
  • Analytical Skills: The ability to interpret data and translate insights into actionable strategies and investment plans.
  • Leadership: Experience managing teams and working collaboratively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Qualifications: Relevant professional qualifications (e.g., RICS, CIOB, or equivalent) are highly desirable.
