As a Capital Projects Manager, you will lead and deliver high-profile projects that shape the future of education. The roles offers a unique opportunity to work at the forefront of innovation, ensuring successful outcomes that improve service delivery, operational efficiency, and user experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage complex projects from inception to completion, ensuring objectives are met on time and within budget
- Engage with a wide range of stakeholders, including budget holders, stakeholders, and senior leaders, to understand needs and deliver impactful solutions
- Develop robust project plans, risk assessments, and performance metrics
- Drive continuous improvement and innovation across assigned projects
- Lead and mentor junior team members, fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence
Essential Skills and Experience
- Significant experience in project management within public sectors
- Strong understanding of project management frameworks (e.g., PRINCE2, Agile, MSP)
- Exceptional leadership and communication skills
- Demonstrable ability to manage budgets, timelines, and diverse teams
- Adept at navigating complex organisational structures and driving consensus
