A Midlands Local Authority is seeking an experienced Locum Senior Commercial Contracts Lawyer to join their legal team. This role will focus on managing a varied caseload of commercial contracts and procurement matters, with additional oversight of a small, self-sufficient team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead on commercial contracts and procurement matters, providing legal expertise and guidance
- Supervise and advise a small team on complex commercial issues as needed
- Support upcoming Invitation to Tender (ITT) for waste contracts, with prior experience in this area a plus
Ideal Candidate:
- Extensive experience in commercial contracts law and procurement matters
- Skilled in managing and advising on complex contracts
- Previous experience with ITT waste contracts is beneficial but not essential
- Available for a full-time or part-time remote role
