We are currently seeking an experienced and driven Major Loss Adjuster to join a specialist adjusting team covering the Midlands region. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled professional to manage complex, high-value claims involving significant commercial property losses. The role is home-based, with flexibility and support provided by a nationwide network.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a portfolio of major loss claims, delivering expert technical assessments and high-quality service
  • Investigate claim circumstances and evaluate liability and quantum, ensuring fair and efficient resolutions
  • Deliver outstanding customer service, providing clarity, empathy, and professionalism throughout
  • Collaborate constructively with internal teams, contributing to continuous improvement and knowledge sharing
  • Take ownership of complex cases, resolving any challenges that arise with confidence and accountability

Key Requirements:

  • Proven 2/3 years’ experience as a Property Loss Adjuster ideal (otherwise we would consider a candidate from Insurance with technical and complex property claims experience)
  • Strong knowledge of insurance principles, policy coverage, and claims processes
  • Ideally ACILA qualified or nearing completion
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving abilities
  • Proficiency in report writing and claims management systems
  • Living in the Midlands with regular travel and a full UK driving license
