Recruit4staff is proud to be representing their client, a leading manufacturing company in their search for a Team Leader to work in their leading facility in Bridgnorth.

For the successful Team Leader our client is offering;

  • Competitive Annual Salary depending on experience
  • 2 shift patterns available - 6:00am – 6.00pm Monday to Thursday (46Hrs) OR 16.30 pm to 04.30 am Monday to Thursday (46Hrs)

The Role - Team Leader:

  • Lead and coach a team of production staff, providing guidance and training in all aspects of production including maintaining and updating skills matrix.
  • Escalate production issues and conformance to schedule concerns to shift manager 
  • Working closely internally with other departments
  • Ensuring products manufactured are meeting the company guidelines
  • Maintain appropriate housekeeping standards within the production area.
  • Monitor production schedules and maintain partner resource planning through managing attendance and holiday scheduling including redeployments during shifts.
  • Ensure all workers are sufficiently competent to undertake duties assigned to them.
  • Complete orientation for new starters and agency workers and complete probationary reviews.
  • Assist in answering general employment/pay queries including encouraging self-service for holiday and payroll queries
  • Act as point of contact for absence call-ins and complete daily Time Management System administration to accurately record employee attendance and timekeeping.
  • Monitor absence to track staff attendance and manage implementation of the attendance policy process including holding attendance review meetings.
  • Complete return to work interviews and escalate any requests for reasonable adjustments or concerns requiring occupational health advice.
  • Identify areas for improvement in production processes and implement changes to enhance efficiency and quality.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives and encourage team members to participate in improvement programmes.

  • Effective time Management and prioritisation skills
  • Strong problem-solving skills and demonstrated ability to mitigate risk to production and/or supply
  • IT Literate
  • Holds Managing Safely IOSH Level 1 certificate - Advantageous
  • Manual Handling and Crane trainer - Advantageous
  • Basic First Aid trained - Advantageous
  • Fire Marshall trained - Advantageous
