Key Account Manager - Home Based Contract - 1 day a week in the office - West Midlands based

*Up to £45,000 + Car + Bonus up to 40% + Benefits*

Futures are excited to be working with an expert led FMCG business who are one of Europe's leading distributors within their category! Their brand portfolio includes household names that you will know and probably use! This business has achieved impressive growth over recent years due to successful NPD projects and new partnerships.

Reporting directly to the Channel Head, this Key Account Manager role is super strategic and commercially focused, you will be a vital part of building and implementing long and short-term growth plans for the portfolio.

You will be tasked with overseeing a top-tier portfolio across Ecommerce.

Key Duties of a Key Account Manager:

  • Manage, network and develop relationships with Key Accounts across Ecommerce
  • Development of a rolling 3 year Ecommerce account growth plan
  • Collaborate with Senior Commercial team and Buyers to identify and grow opportunities within brands and categories
  • Develop new business within account base
  • Understand commercial impact - Pricing, promotions, and Investment etc
  • Negotiate trading terms, pricing, range reset opportunities, JBP’s and cost increase where relevant
  • Understand commercial impact - Pricing, promotions, and Investment etc
  • Develop, implement, and execute clear JBP’s with customer base ensuring focus on key measures for customer base and internal targets

Key Skills/Experience of a Key Account Manager:

  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience within Key Accounts within FMCG, ideally non-food FMCG
  • Experience or an interest within Ecommerce/DTC
  • Proven track record of growing existing business and winning new business
  • Strong verbal and written communications skills and ability to communicate with key stakeholders at all levels of an organisation
  • A positive and proactive attitude, who is self-motivated and capable of working both independently and across functions
