Position Details:- Job Role: Community Psychiatric Nurse (CPN) - Crisis
- Band: 6
- Location: West Midlands
- Duration: 3 months (ongoing)
- Schedule: Long days / Full-time
- Start Date: ASAP
- Rate of Pay: £26 per hour
As a Community Psychiatric Nurse specialising in crisis care, you will play a critical role in providing essential support and care to patients within the community. Your responsibilities will include:
- Conducting regular home visits to ensure patient needs are thoroughly met.
- Administering medications at scheduled times to effectively address patient needs.
- Engaging in in-depth conversations to understand and monitor patient conditions, identifying any improvements or setbacks.
- Performing comprehensive risk assessments to ensure the safety of patients and create a secure environment during their treatment.
- Active registration with the NMC as a Mental Health Nurse.
- Demonstrated community experience.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to perform effectively under pressure.
- Capability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- A strong commitment to providing the highest quality of patient care.
