Content Manager

Salary: £30,000 - £40,000 + (DOE)

Location: Remote, monthly travel

They are seeking a multi-skilled Content Manager with experience in driving and delivering a B2B content marketing strategy, ideally within a technology-related environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, owning, and implementing the content marketing strategy, bringing a fresh perspective to the art of the possible.

As a Content Manager, you will play an integral role in driving business growth by developing and implementing a robust content marketing strategy. You will collaborate with various internal teams and external partners to create compelling content that resonates with our target audience.

Responsibilites:

  • Articulate a content strategy that aligns with business direction and objectives.
  • Own and manage the content delivery calendar ensuring timely publication of new, updated and re-purposed content.
  • Collaborate with team members, partners, freelancers and agencies to produce compelling content.
  • Extend web presence through additional online channels (e.g. LinkedIn) and identify opportunities for team engagement with different content publishers.
  • Track and analyse content performance, focusing on website traffic, engagement metrics and conversion rates.
  • Maintain and update the website, using external agencies where appropriate.
  • Manage the delivery of a weekly email to database audience, track performance, and implement continuous improvement programme in regular communications.

The Right Candidate:

  • Understanding of how to optimize content visibility using traditional and emerging search engine technology.
  • Experience in using content marketing to drive inbound inquiries gained in a B2B environment.
  • Ability to simultaneously manage multiple content-oriented projects involving internal colleagues and external partners.
  • Proficiency in essential analytical tools, including Google AnalyticsExcellent proofreading skills and attention to detail in content production.
