Your new companyThis is an established charity that provides a range of specialist abuse support services to women, men and children across the West Midlands area. They are one of the leading service providers, partnering with the home office to support victims of modern slavery.Your new roleYour role as a Modern Slavery Outreach Worker will be to support victims of modern slavery and human trafficking by providing a holistic but tailored support service. The service works in partnership with key agencies to assess risk and provide support, including financial & practical assistance and referrals to partner agencies as necessary. The Modern Slavery team is involved in all aspects of case management including: risk assessment, needs assessment, journey planning, outcomes and case review when supporting clients through their recovery and reflection period. The advocate will also support clients to access their ECAT entitlements (European Convention on Action Against Trafficking).What you'll need to succeedYou will have previous experience of managing a caseload of clients who have been victims of domestic violence and abuse, understanding how to conduct risk assessments, support planning and the consultation that's involved whilst working with them.
