- Providing Safe Accommodation: Ensuring victims have a secure place to live while they recover from their experiences.
- Tailored Support Plans: Working with victims to assess their needs and risks, and creating personalised support plans.
- Supervising Teams: Overseeing a team of staff and ensuring high-quality service delivery.
- Partnership Work: Collaborating with key agencies to provide comprehensive support, including financial and practical assistance.
- Leadership and Problem-Solving: Supporting the management team and contributing to the smooth operation of the service.

It's a vital position in helping survivors rebuild their lives.What you'll need to succeedTo excel as a Senior Modern Slavery Accommodation Advocate, candidates ideally need:
- Experience in Supporting Trauma Survivors: A background in working with adults who have experienced trauma, abuse, or exploitation is essential.
- Leadership Skills: Experience in supervising teams and managing operations in challenging environments.
- Knowledge of Modern Slavery Issues: Understanding the complexities of modern slavery, human trafficking, and the National Referral Mechanism.
- Problem-Solving Abilities: The ability to assess risks, create tailored support plans, and navigate complex situations.
- Communication Skills: Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate with agencies and provide compassionate support to victims.
