Eden Brown are looking to recruit enthusiastic Qualified Adult Social workers on behalf of Sandwell MBC to work within the Review Team. This is a full time, locum role to start as soon as possible. You will be required to work Monday to Friday, hybrid working pattern. There are standard social worker vacancies as well as two Advanced practitioner vacancies within the team.Primarily the role will require support with the waiting list and review list. You will be expected to work with vulnerable adults and their carers with an asset-based and strength-based approach to support them to achieve their outcomes within the wider community. You will need to be confident in undertaking safeguarding investigations, mental capacity assessments, best interest decisions, carrying out outcome focused assessments, review assessments with support planning, to meet their care and support needs.
The rate for the standard social worker is up to £32 and can be negotiated for Advanced practitioner, dependant on experience. You must have a Degree in Social Work and be SWE Registered.You must also have an enhanced DBS check - if required, Eden Brown can apply for a new one on your behalf.Adult social work experience is advantageous however newly qualified social workers with placement experience are being considered for this role.Please apply now to avoid disappointment.
