Neighbourhood Support Officer.

We assist all employers when they want to source public safety, housing and enterprise security skills and experience.RSR are currently recruiting on behalf of our client based in Lancaster Circus, Birmingham for a Neighbourhood Support Officer.This is a full time, temporary role, initially for 3 months, and offer’s a pay rate of £12 per hour.Main Duties:

• Delivering 121 support to individuals working on hospital discharges
• You will be responsible for finding suitable accommodation and providing support with benefit applications.
• Going into sheltered offices and attending hospitals working with social workers visiting people in hospital.

Essential Requirements:

• Able to work as part of a team with a proactive, problem solving approach.
• Ability to use and interrogate IT equipment and able to use packages such as Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
• Ability to sustain working partnership relationships within and across organisational boundaries including external providers.
• Enhanced DBS Required
