Your new companySandwell Metropolitan Borough Council are looking to recruit an experienced, qualified Social work - Advanced Practitioner to join their Review team, to deliver an enhanced customer experience that promotes wellbeing to local people in Sandwell.

Your new roleSandwell Metropolitan Borough are looking for an enthusiastic and committed Social Work Advanced Practitioner to join their Review team, to help shape and deliver their service, and contribute to the development of a model of best practice. In order to do so, you will be supported by a strong leadership team.You will have experience of managing and leading a newly formed team, with experience of undertaking supervision and the ability to assure quality assessments to ensure a strength-based approach.You will also have a good understanding of the reviewing process and how this supports the customers' journey and meets statutory requirements. This role is 37 hours per week - full-time maternity cover. Monday - Friday.

What you'll need to succeedTo be successful you will require, a Social Work qualification (BA Social Work, CQSW, DipSW, CSS or CCETSW approved equivalent). Current professional registration with Social Work England with minimum of 2 years experience working with adults in a QSW position Good assessment skills and knowledge of safeguarding Passion & commitment to providing the best decisions and care for citizens of SandwellWhat you'll get in returnWorking with Hays, you will receive a bespoke specialist recruitment service with your own personal consultant.
