We're on the lookout for a talented WordPress Developer to join our growing team. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a diverse range of projects, from website builds to ongoing site maintenance, while also playing a key role in client-facing interactions. You'll have the chance to collaborate with experts across design, development, and client services, ensuring we deliver exceptional results for our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, maintain, and enhance WordPress websites, ensuring high-quality code and performance.
- Collaborate with designers and other developers to implement website features and functionalities.
- Write clean, scalable, and efficient code using WordPress, PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and SQL.
- Troubleshoot and debug issues across web projects and deliver timely solutions.
- Manage database integration and ensure seamless backend functionality.
- Assist with website migrations, updates, and security enhancements.
- Provide technical support to clients and internal teams.
- Take part in client meetings and discussions, offering technical advice and updates in a clear and professional manner.
- Translate client requirements into technical solutions and ensure that projects meet client expectations.
What We're Looking For:
- Proven experience in WordPress development, including theme and plugin customization.
- Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, and SQL.
- Proficient with version control (e.g., Git) and basic understanding of web performance optimization.
- Solid understanding of responsive design and cross-browser compatibility.
- Familiarity with tools like Excel for data analysis and reporting.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage with clients in a clear, professional manner.
- Ability to work in a team environment and collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical colleagues.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
