Your new schoolA primary school in Rowley Regis is currently looking for a 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant to work with a child in their reception class. The school is a forward thinking, all through school that focuses on providing a safe and supportive environment for their children to develop and thrive. They also have a brilliant SENCo that makes sure all children get a consistent, high-quality response to meeting their needs in school.Your new roleThe school are looking for a level 3 qualified (childcare, supporting, teaching and learning or equivalent) Teaching Assistant to support a child in reception with additional needs (autism, no challenging behaviour). The child needs support with their reading, phonics and will need some support transitioning in September. This is a full-time (8:30-15:30), long-term role starting from the first week in September until the end of the academic year.What you'll need to succeedA successful candidate will have a minimum of a Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification along with previous experience working with students with SEN.
