  • Work closely with personal tutors/Personal Learning Advisers to monitor and review individual student targets.
  • With the knowledge or permission of the personal tutor, Personal Learning Adviser, SEN Team Leader, or Specialist Support Lead, communicate with parents via telephone or in writing, as appropriate.
  • Act as a trouble-shooter, helping students meet deadlines and catch up on missed work.
  • Attend Academy and Inclusion Team meetings.
  • Participate in training and development activities, including core College training and mandatory Team Teach training.
  • Accompany and support students during work experience placements or trips, where appropriate.
  • Collaborate with College staff to create Individual Risk Assessments, Personal Emergency Evacuation Plans, and Medical Protocols, and assist with exam access arrangements.
  • Carry out administrative tasks, such as maintaining records, updating ProMonitor, providing progress reports to tutors, and conducting regular student support and progress reviews.
