  • Act as a key worker for designated students, supporting them to achieve the outcomes outlined in their EHCP.
  • Support the Specialist Support Lead in the EHCP Annual Review process.
  • Collaborate with personal tutors and Personal Learning Advisers to monitor and review individual student targets.
  • With appropriate permission, communicate with parents via telephone or in writing, as needed.
  • Help students meet deadlines and catch up on missed work by acting as a trouble-shooter.
  • Attend Academy and Inclusion Team meetings.
  • Undertake training and development activities, including Team Teach training.
  • Train and act as an invigilator or provide human support (e.g., as a reader, scribe, or prompt) during exams.
  • Accompany and support students during work experience placements or trips, if required.
  • Perform administrative duties, including maintaining records, updating ProMonitor, providing progress updates to tutors, and conducting regular support and progress reviews.
