The Role:

£33,000 - £36,000 plus Mercedes Vito, mobile, laptop, fuel card, 25 days holiday, pension, healthcare.

This market leading supplier is looking for a Retail Specialist to work with customers to improve their rate of sale. This role is home based with travel to customers’ premises and to head office meetings as required.

Your Role Will Include:

  • Visiting customers to construct, update and position retail displays
  • Improving merchandising to be more visually appealing to customers
  • Assisting with training customers in the effective sale of products
  • Identifying new sales opportunities
  • Building strong relationships with customer contacts at all levels

The Person:

  • Living in the Midlands, you will be active and energetic with enthusiasm for practical roles and outdoor activities, happy to work on your own as well as part of a team.
  • A full driving license and will be willing to travel extensively.
  • Dynamic and have previous experience of working in a retail, events or field marketing where you have gained practical knowledge of shop layouts, product promotions, setting up displays and presenting to retailers/customers.
  • You will have confidence to generate ideas and concepts to the team as well as influence your customers.
  • You will have a passion for customer service and strong interpersonal skills with proven ability to problem solve.
  • Based in the Midlands and able to travel extensively
  • Happy to work on your own and as part of a team
  • Previous experience of working in retail, events or field marketing
  • Experience of retail management in grocery, garden or DIY is preferred
  • Knowledge of shop layouts, product promotions and setting up displays
  • The self-confidence to generate ideas and concepts as well as influencing customers
  • A passion for customer service and a proven ability to problem solve
  • Full driving licence.
