Exciting company experiencing significant growth in the West Midlands are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Procurement Analyst to join the Procurement team. The Procurement Analyst will play a crucial part in managing supplier relationships, analysing spend data, and supporting procurement strategies to enhance cost-effectiveness and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyse data to identify trends, cost-saving opportunities, and supplier performance.
  • Collaborate with various departments including Finance, Operations, Marketing and Legal to understand their procurement needs and ensure alignment with company objectives.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of procurement strategies.
  • Conduct market research to evaluate potential suppliers and their capabilities.
  • Prepare reports and presentations on procurement activities and recommendations for management.
  • Support negotiations with suppliers to secure favourable terms and conditions.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is desirable but not essential.
  • CIPS, MCIPS or working towards is desirable but not essential.
  • 3+ years of experience working as a Procurement Analyst.
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of procurement best practices and market trends is a plus.

This role is based in the West Midlands and commutable from Birmingham, Coventry, Wolverhampton, Stafford and Worcester as the company operates a flexible working policy.
