WHAT TO EXPECT

We are on the hunt for a skilled Tool Setter to join our dedicated Manufacturing team.

In this role, you will be responsible for setting up, adjusting, and maintaining the tools and machinery that are essential to our production process.

Your expertise will ensure that our manufacturing operations run smoothly and efficiently, enabling us to deliver top-quality products to our customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Set up, adjust, and maintain tools and equipment to ensure high standard of accuracy and smooth operation on the production floor.
  • Perform tool changes on machines, ensuring minimal downtime and high-quality production output.
  • Monitor tool performance and take corrective action when necessary to maintain precision and quality.
  • Collaborate with production and engineering teams to troubleshoot and resolve any tool-related issues.
  • Liaise with tooling suppliers on a regular basis to ensure that both Delivery & Company stock levels of tooling are sufficient to support production.
  • Correctly identify any special tooling relating to a specific job so that it can be adequately protected & stored in clearly defined kits ready for future use.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

  • Strong technical skills and a solid understanding of tooling and machining processes.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and work instructions.
  • Proactive attitude and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
