This company seamlessly integrates technology into every aspect of their operations, boasting a strong IT and Tech presence. Leveraging tools such as C# .Net 4.5 Framework / .Net Core / Code-First EF 6 / EF Core / ASP.NET Web API 2 / ASP.Net Core / JSON / LINQ / JWT / Entity Framework Plus and CQRS, the Senior Back-end Developer will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining the organisation's back-end services. These services support both internal and external applications. Additionally, as a senior team member, you will provide expert knowledge and mentor less experienced team members.

Your main duties will include:

  • Developing clean, reusable, and dependable code to meet business needs
  • Providing mentorship and support to help team members grow and excel
  • Championing best practices to deliver solutions that are scalable, efficient, and high-performing
  • Troubleshooting and resolving bottlenecks, bugs, and other technical challenges effectively
  • Defining and upholding rigorous code quality standards and ensuring thorough testing protocols
  • Creating detailed documentation to enhance team knowledge-sharing and project continuity

Skills and Experience required:

  • Previous experience within a similar role such as Back-End Developer / Senior Web Developer / Software Developer
  • Strong commercial experience of developing robust Web APIs together with knowledge of TDD, the Service-Repository pattern and Microsoft Azure cloud-based services
  • Highly proficient in C#andthe .NET 4.5 framework/.NetCore
  • Strong understanding ofSOLID principles,RESTfulservicesand API design
  • Good understanding and experience of Domain DrivenDesign (DDD)
  • Commercial experience of Entity Framework 6 / Entity Framework Core
  • Good understanding ofdependency injection,mocking frameworks,caching methodologiesand theService-Repository pattern
  • Ability to implement automated testing-unit tests, integration tests,smoke test etc
  • Familiarity withMicrosoft Azure DevOpsCI and CDpipelines
  • Experience monitoringand managingMicrosoft Azure resources
