Robert Half is collaborating with a prominent leader in the supply chain industry to recruit a talented Assistant Management Accountant for their Bridgwater office. This role will report directly to the Finance Manager and work closely with cross-functional operational teams. Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish and nurture strong relationships with key clients, providing timely pricing analysis, accurate financial reporting, and fostering trust.
  • Develop, maintain, and review budgets and forecasts, ensuring accuracy and feasibility. Regularly report performance against budgets to senior management, both within the company and externally.
  • Produce and interpret financial reports, including monthly profit and loss accounts, balance sheets, and cash flow statements. Perform variance analysis and recommend corrective actions or opportunities for improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and uphold internal control procedures. Proactively identify and manage financial risks.
  • Offer commercial insights and support strategic decision-making across the business to drive operational efficiency and financial performance.

Key Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a finance or analyst role, ideally within a similar industry.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel, with strong financial modelling capabilities.
  • Experience collaborating with both internal teams and external stakeholders.
