About the Role:Hays are seeking an experienced Interim Financial Controller to join a dynamic manufacturing company based in the Bridgewater area of Somerset. This role is critical in ensuring the financial health and stability of their operations during a period of transition. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all financial activities, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and providing strategic financial guidance to the management team.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the preparation of financial statements and reports
  • Manage the budgeting and forecasting processes
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards
  • Provide strategic financial advice to senior management
  • Supervise and support the finance team
  • Conduct financial analysis to identify areas for improvement
  • Liaise with external auditors and stakeholders


Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Financial Controller or similar role
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in financial software and MS Office
