Reed Accountancy is thrilled to partner with an award-winning industry leader based in Glastonbury, who are searching for a part-time accountant to work alongside the Finance Manager. They need someone for approximately 40 hours a month.

This role would suit someone who is comfortable managing the month-end process, has a good work ethic, and is looking to take ownership of their role.

Role Details: This is a home-based role with occasional visits to the company offices in Glastonbury.

Key Responsibilities:

  • VAT returns, Corporation Tax & PAYE payments
  • Group cashflow management
  • Monthly reconciliations
  • Annual budget/forecast preparation
  • Maintaining the deferred income summary
  • Month-end reconciliations (Trial balance & Bank Rec)
  • Year-end journals between UK and International

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Part qualified in AAT/CIMA/ACCA
  • Strong understanding of UK tax regulations and accounting practices
  • Excellent organisational and time-management skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office
