Reed Accountancy is thrilled to partner with an award-winning industry leader based in Glastonbury, who are searching for a part-time accountant to work alongside the Finance Manager. They need someone for approximately 40 hours a month.
This role would suit someone who is comfortable managing the month-end process, has a good work ethic, and is looking to take ownership of their role.
Role Details:Â This is a home-based role with occasional visits to the company offices in Glastonbury.
Key Responsibilities:
- VAT returns, Corporation Tax & PAYE payments
- Group cashflow management
- Monthly reconciliations
- Annual budget/forecast preparation
- Maintaining the deferred income summary
- Month-end reconciliations (Trial balance & Bank Rec)
- Year-end journals between UK and International
Qualifications & Experience:
- Part qualified in AAT/CIMA/ACCA
- Strong understanding of UK tax regulations and accounting practices
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office
