Sonic Summary

Mactech is seeking Platers for long-term opportunities at Hinkley Point C, starting from October 2023 until Spring 2025.
The positions are available for multiple clients as mechanical scopes progress at the site, with various start dates subject to vetting and onboarding.
Compensation is based on the ECSA site agreement for Advanced Craft 5, with a basic rate of £27.12, overtime rates of £37.97 and £48.82 for OT1 and OT2 respectively, and a bonus of up to £2.72.
The role includes a lodge allowance of £48.16 per day, periodic travel reimbursements, a daily travel allowance, and 25 days of holiday plus public holidays.
Candidates must have at least Level 3 NVQ, ACE, Apprenticeship, or City & Guilds in Plating/Fabrication, along with a CCNSG Safety Passport.

Rates are in line with the ECSA site agreement (Advanced Craft 5) on a PAYE basis as follows:

Basic £27.12
OT1 £37.97
OT2 £48.82
Bonus Up to £2.72
Lodge Allowance: £48.16 per day
Periodic Travel: Return Rail Fare & Travel Time
Daily Travel Allowance: Radius and/or Bus Fare

Holidays: 25 days plus publics
