Customer Service Coordinator

We are Customer Service Coordinator to join our growing team, playing a key role in managing customer orders and maintaining strong relationships. Join a global manufacturer of complex mechanical equipment, based near Dunball / Wembdon / Bridgwater, as they expand their product lines and innovate within the industry. This dynamic site, with around 100 employees, boasts a strong order book and exciting new projects on the horizon. Specialising in the design and manufacture of customisable materials within the mechanical engineering space, supplying into all industries with a primary focus on highly regulated industries.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer Order Management: Process customer enquiries, RFQs, purchase orders, and other correspondence.
  • Production & Planning Coordination: Work with the Production Controller and planning team to schedule orders and provide timely updates to customers.
  • Cross-Departmental Collaboration: Liaise with departments such as Purchasing, Product Design, and Production to ensure customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong customer relationships by providing clear communication and following up on quotations and orders.
  • Process Improvement: Assist in the development and implementation of new processes aligned with the companys continuous improvement philosophy.

Customer Service Coordinator - Essential Requirements/Experience:

  • Experience: At least 2 years experience in a similar customer service role, ideally in a Manufacturing environment
  • Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, etc.) and excellent communication skills.
