Role: HGV Class 2 Driver - Attachments
Location: Bridgwater
Salary: c£40,000
Duration: Permanent
Expected hours: 42.5 per week
HGV Class 2 Driver Duties:
- Loading, unloading and transporting attachments across the South-West, with simple fitting of attachments on sites.
- Loading and securing each load in compliance with the required regulation.
- Carrying out and completing delivery and collection checks on each load ensuring all aspects of the load are captured using a tablet based reporting system.
- Daily vehicle checks and inspections on the allocated vehicle reporting any defects to the transport manager immediately ensuring constant compliance in line with regulations and company standards.
- Upkeep, light maintenance and housekeeping of your allocated vehicle.
- Be a customer focused individual, always wanting to help & support customer base
HGV Class 2 Driver Requirements:
- A Clean Class 2 licence
- Candidates will ideally have experience in the construction arena, loading, securing and transporting of hydraulic attachment equipment would be a great asset
- NPORS or CPCS Loader Securer advantageous
- FORS eLearning modules advantageous
- Excellent communication skills.
- Good attention to detail.
- Good initiative.
- Good time management.
