A Section Engineer with a civils bias is needed for a permanent role with a Global Tier 1 Main Contractor in North Somerset.
The position involves managing a construction site for a multibillion-pound project that includes building a complex tunnel for a new nuclear facility.
Candidates must have a degree or relevant qualifications in Civil Engineering, along with SMSTS and CSCS certifications, and previous experience in major infrastructure projects is essential.
The role requires a competitive salary, along with benefits such as a company car or allowance, matched pension contributions, and private healthcare.
Applicants should have at least a few years of relevant experience and must be able to commute to the Bridgewater/Taunton area as hybrid working is not available.

Section Engineer (Civils bias)Civil Engineering Main ContractorNorth SomersetAn opportunity has been created for a Civils biased Section Engineer to join a Global Tier 1 Main Contractor on a permanent basis on a multibillion-pound project in North Somerset. The project involves excavating and building a new complex tunnel to provide power supply for a major new build nuclear facility.As a Section Engineer, you will be responsible for the management of the construction site supporting the Project Manager and managing a team of engineers. You will be responsible for maintaining high standards of health and safety, quality, environmental impact, and cost control.For this role you will need the following experience:

Degree level/HNC/HND qualification in Civil Engineering or relevant professional experience
Site Management Safety Training Scheme (SMSTS, & CSCS)
