Duration: Approx 3 years
Working hours/ly 44 hours (Mon-Fri) with expectation of regular overtime as the work scope progresses
Main duties :
- To apply protective coatings to the correct specification and using the correct products
- Check steel adequate from blast profile and surface cleanliness for the application of protective products.
- Check wet pool thickness.
- Check specification to ensure correct product and masking details and overcoat periods.
- Apply coatings use correct equipment.
- Demask steel after applying coating.
- Clean line and equipment.
Qualifications :
One of the following -
- OPITO Level 1 Blaster\Sprayer
- Train the Painter - Protective Coatings Applicator
- ICATS Protective Coatings Applicator
- ECITB Skills Test Alternative / Skills Test Number: TICA-A01 / TICA-P01
Must also hold
- CCNSG Safety Passport
Experience :
Minimum 2 years' experience in similar industry
