Then get in touch! Kingston Barnes is currently recruiting for CNC Machinists in the Bridgwater area. Our client is looking for specialist machinists who have experience with XYZ machining on Milling machines or Lathes.

The Company: Our client is a market leader in their engineering field. They work with over 100 different materials to produce precision machined components for various industries within engineering and manufacturing. This company has a global presence and is continuing its steady growth since its inception in the 1980s. Due to continued growth, they want to expand their workforce at their Bridgwater site.

The Role: You will be responsible for setting and running machines whilst ensuring maximum production is achieved to quality standards. This includes ensuring maximum productivity whilst adhering to quality standards, adjusting setups, altering programming, and other machine tasks to ensure maintained production levels. Responsibilities include:

• Inspecting parts produced
• Adjust Setups
• Alter programmes
• Machine set up
• Work in accordance with the quality system
• Ensure all aspects of safety standards are always kept

The Candidate:

• Background in CNC Milling or Turning, at least 3-axis experience
• Ability to work from Engineering drawings
• Experience with Mazak machines and Mazatrol control systems (Desirable)
• Experience working with flexible materials
• Programming experience with G-Code or CAM software
• Time served Mechanical Engineering Apprenticeship or Qualifications
• Proven background in CNC machining
• Hardworking, proactive individual with a "can-do" attitude

Benefits:

• £35,000 to £43,000 depending on experience
• Monday to Friday Double Days
• 28 days Holiday
