Are you a CNC Miller Programmer with experience in Setting and Operating, looking to join a bespoke subcontracting machine shop, where you'll be incentivised with pay and role progression as well as focused training to enhance your skills?

On offer is the opportunity to join this rapidly growing SME, that have heavily invested in industry leading machinery to keep up with demand and to fulfil their growing order book.

This company is a precision engineering subcontractor that have been established for over a decade, specialising in bespoke turning and 5 axis CNC machining in high end industries such as the aerospace, motorsport, defence and commercial customer bases.

The successful candidate will be a CNC Miller programmer in control of the implementation of programs and conforming parts on the machines, and assisting in the manufacturing of parts through the production process. Organisational skills are essential for ensuring planned times for setting and manufacturing are met or improved.

The Role:

  • To control the installation of programs and conforming parts on the milling machinery
  • ensuring that the organisation meets its customers' expectations of quality and delivery within their team
  • To work with the Production Manager, Setter / Operators and others in the department in promoting a right first-time approach to all tasks within the department
  • To adhere to the techniques used within the business, comply with the internal practices used and adopt the companies continuous improvement and ethos within the business.
  • Work within an AS9100 quality environment

The Person:

  • Experience of programming Fanuc CNC / Siemens Controls.
  • Setting and operating CNC Mills. This is a role that needs skilled programmers / setters.
