Machine Operative / CNC operator

Highbridge

£12.60 per hr - £14.50 DOE

My client, based in Highbridge is currently seeking a CNC Operator / Machine Operator to join their team in a day based role.  The ideal candidate will have ideally worked in a Workshop environment and be used to using power tools.  For the right candidate my client is happy to invest in CNC training

Machine Operative / CNC operator Responsibilities

  • Craft custom and stock pieces, predominantly from wood.
  • Machine wood, predominately using cnc machine and other tools.
  • Assemble, prepare and quality check surfaces
  • Operate power tools and machinery safely, adhering to health and safety requirements.

Machine Operative / CNC operator Requirements

  • Ideally experience in a Wood Manufacturing business or similar position is preferred
  • An understanding of how to clean and maintain machines
  • Thorough attention to detail
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Hours of Work

Mon – Thurs 8am – 4pm

Friday 8am – 3pm
