An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly experienced Construction Delivery Lead to join the Hinkley Point C Project-one of the most significant nuclear new build projects in Europe. This role sits within the Construction Delivery Group, a key part of the integrated Site Construction Directorate, responsible for overseeing Tier 1 contract partners and ensuring the successful planning, management, and coordination of multi-disciplinary construction activities.

About the Role
As a Construction Delivery Lead, you will play a critical role within the integrated Construction Delivery Team. You will be responsible for overseeing Tier 1 contractor activities, ensuring safe, high-quality, and on-schedule delivery of key mechanical, electrical, and HVAC scopes of work.

You'll be working across major Nuclear Island zones (N1/N2/N3), liaising closely with Multi-Disciplinary Teams (MDTs), Tier 1 partners, and supporting Construction Delivery Managers on-site. Your ability to coordinate short-term plans with long-term programme goals will be vital to the success of this project.

Principal Accountabilities
* Lead and coordinate construction delivery across designated areas of the project, primarily within the Nuclear Island.
* Oversee the work of Tier 1 contractors, ensuring compliance with health & safety, environmental, and quality standards.
* Chair weekly and daily site meetings (PLOWs, PLODs), and contribute to the site-wide reporting system (DSLs, QCFC, INSIGHT).
* Act as a mentor and line manager to Construction Delivery Managers (CDMs), providing leadership and operational support.
* Manage field engineering issues, RAMs, WAFs, LTQRs, Engineering Change (RFIs/FCRs/NCRs), and interface documents (TACs, IMDs).
* Champion nuclear safety culture and embed best practices across your team and delivery partners.
* Actively engage in surveillance planning and inspections to maintain delivery performance and compliance.


Ideal Candidate Profile
* Proven experience delivering large-scale M&E or MEH packages on complex construction or infrastructure projects.
* Strong site-based leadership background, ideally within regulated environments (Nuclear, Power, Defence, Oil & Gas).
* Knowledge of NEC contract management, surveillance practices, RAMs, WAFs, LTQRs, and interface controls.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills - able to lead cross-functional teams under pressure.
* Strong grasp of HSE regulations and safe systems of work.
* Flexibility to work extended hours, weekends, or alternative shifts as required by site demands.
