We are currently working in partnership with a Housing Association based in Somerset, who are recruiting for a Contracts Manager on a Three-month contract.
The position is due to start immediately, with the potential to go full time. The day rate on offer is negotiable up to a figure of £275 via an Umbrella company.
The ideal candidate will have experience overseeing a team of Surveyors and have worked on both compliance/responsive repairs contracts.
Duties will include (but are not limited to):
- Directly line managing a team of five surveyors, covering void and responsive maintenance on domestic properties
- Providing advice to the team of surveyors, and handle complaints that have been escalated
- Overseeing compliance contracts and ensuring all works are completed within allotted time frames and in budget, including a lift replacement programme and fibre installs and upgrades
- Ensuring all damp and mould requirements are actioned and adhered to
- Completing section 20 consultations with tenants in relation to planned upgrades and compliance works
Experience required:
- Experience required in Social Housing
- Experience working with compliance
- Experience overseeing mid-large-scale contracts
Working hours:
- 37 hours per week
- Monday - Friday, 9am-5pm (Flexible start/finish times)
