Your new companyYou will be working for a well-recognised Tier One Contractor who work across multiple Highway frameworks such as SEWH4, SWRTA and National Highways. Working across a number of sectors, such as road construction and maintenance in particular, working on traffic lighting, public realm, highway maintenance, surfacing and bridges/structures.
Your new roleYou will be employed as a Project Manager on an interesting Highways scheme and will be responsible for, but not limited to, external stakeholder communication, which involves interfacing with the public and the client whilst being involved with the programming of the project and ensuring the client is notified of any changes that occur. You will also oversee the site management, ensuring that health and safety standards are adhered to whilst remaining within project budget and timelines.
What you'll need to succeedIn order to succeed, you will have worked as a Project Manager on Highways schemes previously and will have experience dealing with external stakeholders, which includes client liaison. You will also have the ability and competence to programme and have the correct qualifications, such as a Gold or Black CSCS Card, First Aid and an SMSTS.
