Project Manager - Hinkley Point C Randstad are recruiting for an experienced Project Manager to join a major infrastructure project in Somerset. This is a contract role offering the opportunity to work on a critical project within a leading construction company.
Pay rate is maximum: £700 day rate INSIDE IR35 PAYE Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of the project, ensuring adherence to project schedules, budgets, and quality standards.
- Lead and manage a team of project staff, including engineers, site managers, and subcontractors.
- Develop and implement project plans, risk assessments, and quality management procedures.
* Coordinate with stakeholders, including clients, subcontractors, and regulatory bodies.* Identify and manage potential risks and issues, proposing solutions and corrective actions. * Monitor project progress and ensure timely completion within budget.
- Prepare and maintain project documentation, including progress reports, meeting minutes, and financial records.
Essential Qualifications:* Proven experience as a Project Manager or in a similar role within the construction industry.* A strong understanding of project management methodologies, such as PRINCE2 or APM.* Experience working on large-scale infrastructure projects, ideally within the nuclear or energy sectors.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively lead and motivate a team.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively under pressure.
Desirable Qualifications:
- Experience working with leading construction companies in the UK.
- Knowledge of relevant industry regulations and standards for nuclear and/or energy projects.
* Experience with project management software.
