Role Overview: Lead the delivery of a specific section of the Works, overseeing all construction activities. Collaborate with the Area Construction Lead, logistics team, and other site functions to ensure efficient planning, execution, and client liaison.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist Construction Delivery Managers with safety and quality measures.
  • Drive on-site work, ensuring contractor performance aligns with the programme.
  • Review and report on daily site logs, escalating issues as needed.
  • Act as a subject matter expert (civil or MEH) to support contract partners in timely work package delivery.
  • Maintain proactive communication with site functions and attend pre-start briefings.
  • Make a significant impact in delivering excellence!

Qualifications:

  • Degree qualified in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering or Construction management, or equivalent vocational training and experience.
  • SMSTS or IOSH qualification holder.
  • Proven experience in project delivery with multiple stakeholders, including construction sequencing and resource allocation.
  • Strong knowledge of CDM Regulations.
  • Skilled in writing concise, informative reports and presenting findings professionally.
  • Ability to motivate and energize contract partners, fostering trust and understanding.
  • Collaborative leadership to manage site operations effectively.
  • Results-focused, proactive, and accountable for delivering excellence, value, and quality.
