We are currently partnering with a reputable Housing Association based in Somerset, who are recruiting for a Compliance & Building Safety Supervisor to join their growing team on a permanent basis.
This is a full-time position with a salary of £47,754 per annum and the start date is subject to notice.
Duties will include (but are not limited to):
- Managing a team covering all areas of Property Compliance (The Big 6) and Building Safety
- Ensuring that compliance surveys are undertaken within allotted timescales, using third party contractors as required
- Developing and implementing compliance programmes, ensuring regulatory requirements are met
- Ensuring all compliance data is accurate and robust
- Carrying out performance management and personal development with the wider team
- Planning an FRA programme, and implementing remedial works as required
- Producing a monthly compliance report for stakeholders that include contractor updates
- Auditing all areas of the 'Big 6’
- Managing the HA’s building safety process, including the recording of golden thread
Requirements:
- Experience in Housing
- Experience of Property Compliance
- Recent knowledge of Building Safety/ The Building Safety Act
- Understanding of compliance programmes of work
- Ideally a NEBOSH/ IOSH/ Equivalent qualification
