We are currently partnering with a reputable Housing Association based in Somerset, who are recruiting for a Compliance & Building Safety Supervisor to join their growing team on a permanent basis.

This is a full-time position with a salary of £47,754 per annum and the start date is subject to notice.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

  • Managing a team covering all areas of Property Compliance (The Big 6) and Building Safety
  • Ensuring that compliance surveys are undertaken within allotted timescales, using third party contractors as required
  • Developing and implementing compliance programmes, ensuring regulatory requirements are met
  • Ensuring all compliance data is accurate and robust
  • Carrying out performance management and personal development with the wider team
  • Planning an FRA programme, and implementing remedial works as required
  • Producing a monthly compliance report for stakeholders that include contractor updates
  • Auditing all areas of the 'Big 6’
  • Managing the HA’s building safety process, including the recording of golden thread

Requirements:

  • Experience in Housing
  • Experience of Property Compliance
  • Recent knowledge of Building Safety/ The Building Safety Act
  • Understanding of compliance programmes of work
  • Ideally a NEBOSH/ IOSH/ Equivalent qualification
