Job Title:
AutoCAD Draftsperson
Description & Background:
Seeking an experienced Operational Draftsperson to join the Hinkley Point C nuclear power plant project. You'll be responsible for generating and revising P&IDs and electrical drawings to support Commissioning and Operations teams, ensuring compliance with project processes and timelines.
Responsibilities:
- Generate and modify electrical diagrams and P&IDs for CommOps organization
- Ensure compliance with drawing creation and revision processes
- Recommend improvements based on experience and lessons learned
- Meet project timeline requirements for drawing production
- Collaborate with Operational Procedures team
- Extract and utilize data from various project documents
- Support production of additional drawing types as needed
- Advise on required software tools for project specifications
Experience Required:
- 3+ years experience producing electrical drawings and P&IDs
- Proficient in AutoCAD and 3D AutoCAD
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Strong analytical thinking skills
- Advanced IT and organizational abilities
- Experience extracting data from design documents
- Experience in nuclear or regulated industries
- Project organization background
- Understanding of UK nuclear quality requirements
- Relevant technical qualifications
Salary, Hours and Location:
- £175 PAYE to £245 UMBRELLA per day
- Long term, Full-time
- Site-based at Hinkley Point C, Somerset
