JOB – Electrical Design Engineer  LOCATION – SomersetTERM - Permanent SALARY – £35,000 - £45,000 per annum (dependant on experience) A Somerset based Engineering company are currently looking for an Electrical Design Engineer to join their team on a permanent basis.The Electrical Design Engineer will ideally have the following attributes:
  • HND or equivalent electrical engineering qualification or relevant discipline.
  • Previous experience in Electrical Design – creating electrical schematics & BoMs.
  • Good understanding of AutoCAD Electrical drawing package.
  • Full UK driving license.
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Strong communication skills.
The Electrical Design Engineer’s duties will involve:
  • Prepare & develop technical drawings & schematics.
  • Testing of equipment before it leaves site.
  • Working closely with other departments to ensure work is to standard.
  • Ensuring health & safety regulations are met at all times.
  • Ensuring customer requirements are met at all times.
