Are you an experienced Electrical Project Engineer with a background in large-scale infrastructure projects? Do you have a proven track record of delivering high-value EPC projects in regulated sectors like nuclear? If so, this is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in one of the UK's most significant energy projects.

About the Role:

We're looking for an Electrical Project Engineer for our client on a 6-month contract, supporting the successful delivery of Hinkley Point C projects. Reporting to the Senior Project Manager, you'll take ownership of project planning, engineering, and execution, ensuring efficiency, profitability, and compliance with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Management – Oversee project execution, supervising engineers, subcontractors, and site teams
  • Customer & Stakeholder Engagement – Maintain high levels of service and collaboration
  • Compliance & Standards – Ensure all work meets regulatory and safety requirements
  • Commercial & Financial Oversight – Monitor budgets, costs, and project profitability
  • Health & Safety – Uphold the highest standards in accordance with company and legal policies

What We're Looking For:

  • Strong electrical engineering background, ideally with nuclear or regulated sector experience
  • Minimum 3 years of industry experience, preferably in major EPC projects
    Excellent technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills
    Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management abilities
    Knowledge of health & safety regulations and industry standards
