Salary: £60,000 - £70,000 + Car Allowance

Location: Hinkley Point C Site, Bridgwater, Somerset

Job Type: Full time, Permanent

Working Pattern: 9-day fortnight

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager to join the team at Hinkley Point C, the UK's first new-build nuclear power station in a generation. This prestigious project is critical to the UK's Net Zero targets and requires a strong commitment to safety, quality, and collaboration.

Key Responsibilities of an Electrical Project Manager

Contract Delivery: Deliver contract activities safely, on time, and within budget while meeting technical requirements.
Strategy Implementation: Develop and implement strategies and plans in alignment with the Programme Execution Plan (PEP).
Progress Monitoring: Monitor progress against milestones, deadlines, and budgets, and report to key stakeholders.
Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks, resolve issues, and ensure lessons-learned practices are integrated.
Standards Compliance: Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards throughout all project activities.
Relationship Building: Build effective working relationships with project team members and stakeholders.

Qualifications & Experience

Project Management: Proven experience in project management of large-scale, complex projects, ideally in regulated sectors (nuclear experience is preferred).
Industry Experience: At least 10 years' industry experience.
Educational Background: HNC or equivalent qualification in Electrical Engineering.
Professional Qualification: Recognised project management qualification (e.g., APM PMQ, Prince2 Practitioner).
Technical Knowledge: Broad understanding of electrical systems, construction practices, and contract/budget management.
Regulatory Experience: Experience with engineering/construction activities, stakeholder engagement, and CDM regulations.
