About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced General Foreman to supervise and lead site teams, ensuring all site operations are carried out efficiently and in accordance with project requirements. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong leadership skills and technical expertise to make a significant impact on high-profile projects.
Key Responsibilities:
路Supervise the core team and sub-contractors allocated to the service.
路Ensure all works are covered by a safe system of working, with necessary briefings carried out, and sign off POWRAs.
路Provide sufficient supervision of personnel working on site.
路Review working documentation to ensure its content is sufficient and relevant to tasks.
路Assist the Site Agent in managing and programming works, including plant and material requirements.
路Oversee plant delivery sign-offs, audits, and utilisation.
路Ensure health, safety, wellbeing, environment, and quality standards are upheld in all site operations.
路Deliver and record Toolbox Talks, Stand Downs, and Stand Ups as required.
路Ensure SHEQ processes and procedures are followed and recorded in line with the CQAP.
Success in this Role Will Be Measured By:
路Bi-annual Personal Development Reviews (PDR).
路Safe completion of programme works to the required quality standards.
路Effective communication and engagement with teams.
路Completion of Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) inspections.
Essential Requirements:
路Valid CSCS and SMSTS certifications.
路Strong experience in CITB construction projects.
路NVQ Level 3 qualification (ideal).
路Proven leadership and problem-solving skills
