We are recruiting a Forklift Driver to join our Bridgwater site. We are a global independent soft drinks manufacturer with 78 manufacturing sites worldwide including 6 sites in the UK. Bridgwater is our largest plant.

  • 4 on 4 off Shift pattern –2 Days, 2 Nights 4 off – 12 hours shifts
  • Day Shifts: 06:00 to 18:00 / 06:30 to 18:30 /07:00 to 19:00
  • Night Shifts: 18:00 to 06:00 / 18:30 to 06:30 /19:00 to 07:00
  • 22 days holiday (264 hours over the year)

As a Forklift Driver, You will join a state-of-the-art warehouse operation where you will work side by side automated guided vehicles (AGV’s). As a supply team operative drive our fleet of VNA’s (Very Narrow aisle) trucks around the warehouse to manoeuvre products ready for shipment.As our Forklift Driver, ideally you will have an in-date Reach FLT licence or VNA Licence either from an inhouse team or an external provider, candidates with expired reach truck licence will also be considered. You need to be happy to work at hights, our VNA go up to 18 meters – If you are happy with all of those, we will provide the rest of the training.Do you have a Counterbalance and want to start your training on a VNA - Apply & we will provide all the training and get you up to speed .Forklift Driver:  Key responsibilities:
  • Operating equipment/machinery and undertaking fault finding, changeovers including CIP where relevant, asset care, and basic machine maintenance activities.
  • Management of Raw Materials in accordance with FIFO and Storage Procedures.
  • Reporting any non-conformances to Company Policies/Procedures/Standards and supporting corrective action activities.
  • Working as a key member of a production team, demonstrating Company Values and flexibility to support other teams/departments where required.
  • Ability to meet team performance targets and required Company Standards.
  • Participating in traceability exercises, product trials, and site audits/visits
  • Supporting the delivery of key performance indicators for the Factory linked to Safety, Quality, People, Delivery, and Cost Standards
Forklift Driver:  skills & attributes:
  • Indate or Expired Reach, VNA or counterbalance licence
  • Ability to problem solve, team player & a keen eye for detail.
  • Great communicator with a “can do” attitude
