Our Client a Global Engineering company are seeking HSE Advisor in Somerset on a permanent, full-time basis. The role is fully onsite so you must be able to commute to Somerset.

The Role

As an HSE Advisor, you will play a crucial role in promoting continuous improvement and safe working practices across the site. You will provide essential knowledge, advice, and support to ensure compliance with legislative and contractual requirements.

Key Activities

In this role, you will promote a positive Health & Safety culture within the company and its supply chain. You will support HSE commitments by highlighting and promoting best practices. Additionally, you will ensure that HSE Management System policies and procedures are followed across all project scopes.

As an HSE Advisor, you will play a pivotal role in promoting a positive Health & Safety culture throughout the company and its supply chain. You will collaborate with site management to agree on remedial actions for any non-conformance issues and conduct follow-up reviews to ensure proper implementation.

Additionally, you will prepare and deliver comprehensive reports on project HSE performance targets and KPIs, aligning with business, client, and regulatory reporting requirements. Your responsibilities will also include managing the delivery of robust HSE inspection and audit regimes to effectively monitor compliance with contractual and statutory requirements.

Experience & Qualifications

  • Health & Safety Degree / NEBOSH general certificate of equivalent
  • IOSH Qualification
  • CCNSG certificate
