Job Solutions Ltd are delighted to be assisting our long term client with their recruitment for a long term Mixing Operative to join their growing, professional team.
Daily Duties will include:-
- Operating equipment:Operate mixing equipment to blend ingredients according to formulas
- Monitoring and adjusting:Monitor and adjust the blending process to ensure consistent product quality
- Maintenance:Perform regular maintenance on mixing equipment
- Troubleshooting:Troubleshoot and resolve any issues with the mixing equipment
- Record keeping:Keep accurate records of production activities
- Cleaning:Clean mixers and material systems for product changes and shutdowns
- Safety:Maintain a safe working environment for self and others
- Documentation:Ensure all relevant paperwork is up to date
- Working practices:Ensure that required standards of working practices are consistently met
- Personal protective equipment:Wear and correctly use the required personal protective equipment (PPE)
Essential Skills:
- Good English speaking and written
- Good arithmetic
- Attention to detail
- Physically fit and very aware of manual handling requirements for a role that involves heavy and awkward lifting
- Used to and familiar with working as part of a team
- Used to working in manufacturing production warehouse environment
- Previous experience using pallet trucks
Desirable:
- Previous experience in Chemical industry
- COSHH awareness
- Forklift and pallet truck experience
