Haw 3 Talent Solutions is operating as an employment business on behalf of its client for a permanent Sales Estimator & Administrator based in Bridgwater, Somerset. The Sales Estimator & Administrator will play a key role in supporting the sales team by managing all estimating and administrative tasks, particularly in pre- and post-quotation stages. This individual will work closely with the Sales Team to ensure accurate and timely quotes, contribute to the smooth running of daily sales operations, and enhance the overall customer experience. 

Candidates with a background in office administration in any sector, or experience in a similar quoting/manufacturing/engineering/security/construction environment involving support for customer inquiries, are encouraged to apply. 

The working hours can work in a few ways: 8.30am – 5.00pm or 8.00am - 5.00pm or 7.00am – 4.00pm Monday to Friday. The annual salary is Circa £36,000 PA. Key Responsibilities:

  • Estimating & Quoting: Prepare accurate estimates and quotes for systems based on specifications, drawings, site surveys and details provided by the Sales Team.
  • Sales Support: Assist the sales team with proposal generation, tender submissions, and maintaining CRM records.
  • Customer Service: Serve as a point of contact for customers, providing updates and addressing queries in a professional and responsive manner.
  • Documentation & Compliance: Ensure all estimates and proposals adhere to company standards and industry regulations.
  • Coordination & Scheduling: Collaborate with the Operations Manager on the smooth handover of customer orders.
  • Reporting & Analysis: Maintain records of quotations, conversion rates, and follow-up actions. Provide periodic reports to support business decisions.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline administrative and estimating processes for greater efficiency and accuracy.

Experience, attributes & skills sought:

  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years in a sales support or estimating role. 
  • Customer-Centric Approach: Strong focus on delivering exceptional service and building long-lasting relationships.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills; able to convey technical details clearly and professionally.
  • Organisational Skills: Highly organised with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • IT Proficiency: Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook). Experience with CRM systems is an advantage.
