Description & Background:
An opportunity has arisen for a HSE Advisor for the Hinkley Point C project. This critical role is essential to maintaining the highest standards of health, safety, and environmental compliance across complex electrical installations and maintenance operations.
Responsibilities:
- Promote a positive Health & Safety culture throughout the company and supply chain
- Implement and ensure HSE Management System policies and procedures across all project work scopes
- Conduct weekly site performance inspections and comprehensive audits
- Ensure appropriate implementation of company policies and procedures
- Manage comprehensive incident response, reporting, and investigation processes
Experience Required:
- Health & Safety Degree or NEBOSH General Certificate
- Electrical qualification advantageous
- Experience of monitoring and auditing electrical scopes of work essential
- Proven experience in HSE management within complex industrial environments
- Extensive knowledge of HSE best practices and management systems
- Demonstrated ability to conduct comprehensive safety assessments
- Ability to lead and influence across multiple teams and stakeholders
- Advanced reporting and documentation skills
Rate, Hours and Location:
- 10 hours per day Full-time
- Site-based at Hinkley Point C, Somerset
