Westlakes Recruit are currently recruiting for a HSE Managerwith a background in a regulated industry on either a Permanent or Contract basis, to be located in Bridgwater.
Key responsibilities will be:
- Work collaboratively with Health and Safety Advisor's and stakeholders across the organisation to become a subject matter expert
- Facilitate providing the highest standard of health and safety support, guidance and oversight
- Provide support and subject matter expertise to ensure activities are delivered in line with HSSE legislation, working as 'One team' supporting other members of the Health & Safety team as and when required
Qualifications:
- HNC in a relevant technical discipline or equivalent
- Current qualification/knowledge of the CDM Regulations
- Minimum NEBOSH General Certificate, Construction Certificate or NVQ Level 3
- Member of the Institution of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH) desirable
- IEMA Foundation Certificate in Environmental Management
- Suitable relevant experience working as a HSE Professional in a project context. This needs to include experience working within a highly regulated, operational environment
- Must be experienced in managing contractors and experience of accident investigation and reporting
